09 Jan Come to Casa Cesilia for the Grape Festival

On Saturday, November 17, the Novelda Department of Tourism has organized a day dedicated to the grape.  In addition to visiting vineyards and warehouses, you can visit our winery and taste our exquisite special menu prepared especially for this occasion.

Learning about the richness of our heritage gives us even more appreciation for it.  So, this weekend we suggest you join us for a day that will give you a close-up look of the table grape, Novelda’s most important product and one that will be present once again this year when the New Year’s bells toll.  Casa Cesilia has joined Novelda’s Department of Tourism’s initiative to showcase the exquisite cuisine made with grapes and the process used to convert this fruit into wine, with a guided tour at approximately 1:00 p.m.

Served to the center of the table for sharing
Goat cheese salad with a Monastrell cream sauce
Cured cheese with raisins
Sauteed squid garnished with grapes from the estate

Main course (choose one elegir)
Rice duo:
“A Banda” rice (rice cooked in fish broth) and rice with pork and vegetables

Calatrava bread with caramelized grapes
